Snowman Amigurumi Free Pattern

So today I’m sharing with you guys my 3rd free pattern, in celebration of Eid Al-Adha ^_^

Abbreviations:

Ch: chain

Sc: Single crochet

Hdc: Half double crochet

Dc: Double crochet

Sl St: Sip stitch

Inc: Increase

Dec: Decrease

Pattern:

N.B: Working is in continuous rounds unless otherwise in mentioned in the pattern.

Hook: 3mm

Head:

R1: Make a magic ring,  6sc, don’t sl st, cont. in rounds (6 sc)

R2: 2sc all around. (12 sc)

R3: 2 sc, sc . Repeat. (18 sc)

R4: 2sc, sc in 2. Repeat. (24 sc)

R5: 2sc, sc in 3. Repeat (30sc)

R6-R12: sc around (30 sc)

R13: dec, sc in 3. Repeat  (24 sc)

fill with fiber

R14: dec, sc in 2. Repeat  (18 sc)

R15: dec, sc in 1. Repeat (12 sc)

R16: dec all around (6sc)

Fasten off leaving a long tail for sewing.

Body: 

R1: Make a magic ring,  6sc, don’t sl st, cont. in rounds (6 sc)

R2: 2sc all around. (12 sc)

R3: 2 sc, sc . Repeat. (18 sc)

R4: 2sc, sc in 2. Repeat.  (24 sc)

R5: 2sc, sc in 3. Repeat. (30sc)

R6: 2sc, sc in 4. Repeat. (36 sc)

R7: 2sc, sc in 5. Repeat. (42 sc )

R8- R15: sc around (42 sc)

R16: dec , sc in 5. Repeat. (36 sc)

fill with fiber

R17: dec, sc in 4. Repeat. (30sc)

R18: dec, sc in 3. Repeat. (24 sc)

R19: dec, sc in 2. Repeat. (18 sc)

R20: dec, sc in 1. Repeat. (12 sc)

R21: dec all around. (6sc)

Fasten off leaving a long tail for sewing

N.B: Don’t close the gap until you sew the black buttons to bury their tail inside.

Hat:

Using Black yarn

R1: Make a magic ring,  6sc, don’t sl st, cont. in rounds (6 sc)

R2: 2sc all around. (12 sc)

R3: 2 sc, sc . Repeat. (18 sc)

In back loops only

R4: sc around (18 sc)

R5-R8: sc around (18 sc)

In back loops only

R9:2 sc all around (32 sc)

Fasten off leaving a long tail for sewing

Nose:

Using yellow yarn

Ch5

R1: dc in the 2nd ch from the hook, hdc, sc.

Fasten off leaving a long tail for sewing.

Bend it and sew it to make a cone shape.

Buttons: (make three)

With thin black cotton yarn

R1: 5sc , sl st. Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Hands: (make two)

Using brown yarn

hook no:2 (steel hook)

Here we will use a small hook to make the hands stiff

R1: Ch11, sl st from the back 3 times, ch4, sl st from the back 3 times, then back to the main chs and sl st till the end (7times).

Fasten off leaving a long tail for sewing.

Assembling:

Now Sew all the parts together adding two small beads as the eyes.
